About Me

M.Ed. Counselling Psychology & Psychotherapy, University of Toronto

Specialized Honours B.A. Psychology, York University

It was when I was working for a major league baseball team that I became interested in people, specifically with regard to their behaviour and social interactions in various settings. It was, and still is, fascinating to me to think about how people are generally the same, regardless of social status, financial wealth or race. We typically want to be heard and know that what we say and do matters. I noticed that I enjoyed dealing with the public and problem-solving in situations where people were struggling. With this in mind, I went back to school to obtain the necessary education and experience to become a psychotherapist. As my client, you can expect a therapist who is intrinsically motivated to improve people’s lives. I bring years of experience in corporate workplaces, life experience in terms of relationships, lifestyle, losses, to mention a few. I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, as well as a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I am also bilingual in Korean.
